About

Domainers, domain investors, or digital real estate investors - call them what you like, these are the folks who roam the Internet in search of valuable digital assets.
Unfortunately, too many people confuse legitimate investors with cyber squatters. But the two are not the same, not even close.
Cybersquatters are criminals who try to buy domains that either directly infringe on an existing trademark, or are meant to be confusingly similar. These scum profit off of all the hard work you're doing to build your brand.
Cybersquatting is illegal, domain investing, is, like real estate investing, a very research-intensive, expensive, and time consuming endeavor.
The Domainer Files follows the lives of the Domainer as they navigate the Wild West that is the digital real estate world. Domainers are some of the most misunderstood geniuses of our time, I'm seeking to change that.
Oh and as for who I am and why I'm writing this. I'm Morgan, and I was an active domain investor but started a software company over a decade ago and that takes up just about every waking minute of my time.
I still own a small portfolio of domains, and do sell a domain here and there, and sometimes help a startup or two snag a good domain, but I'm mostly just a spectator of the Domaining world these days.
That being said, I'm passionate about helping more people see domain investors as true digital asset investors, not squatters, and hope I can show that side of this wild and wonderful world, and more importantly, the people behind it.
